Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Wiseren, LLC. ("Wiseren," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with wiseren.com and the Wiseren workshop service (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

• Purchase information. When you buy a session, our payment processor collects your payment details and your email address. We receive confirmation of the purchase and your email address. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Session details. Your first name and email address, which you provide before your session begins.
• Communications. Information contained in messages you send us, including support requests, refund requests, and feedback.

2.2 Workshop session information

The Services include live video sessions with an AI advisor. In connection with those sessions:

• Speech is converted to text. Your microphone audio is processed during the session and converted into a written transcript. We do not store audio or video recordings of sessions. Camera and microphone streams are used to conduct the session and are not retained.
• Transcripts. The resulting text record of what was said during the session is stored.
• Session board content. Statements, figures, evidence, and conclusions recorded on the visual board during the session.
• Plan documents. The written plan produced at the end of a session, which incorporates information you provided during it and may quote you directly.

Session information frequently includes information about your business — including metrics, customers, channels, pricing, revenue, and strategy — and may include information about third parties that you choose to disclose. Please do not disclose information during a session that you are not authorized to share.

2.3 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies. As described in Section 5.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
• Deliver workshop sessions and generate the resulting plan documents;
• Send you your access link, session details, your plan, and related service communications;
• Process your payment, issue refunds, and keep records of transactions;
• Respond to your inquiries and provide support;
• Monitor, debug, evaluate, and improve the Services, including the quality and accuracy of the AI advisor and the plans it produces;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use your session content to target advertising to you.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time as described in Section 11. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer provide the Services.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, maintain session security, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across unaffiliated websites.

We use Google Analytics on our public website to understand how visitors use it, only if you accept analytics in our cookie banner. It is off by default, and we honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal as a refusal. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. We do not load Google Analytics on workshop, room or report pages. For those, we record a small number of product events (such as a purchase, a workshop starting or a report becoming available) directly from our servers. If you accepted analytics on our website, these events use the same Google Analytics identifier, so they count as part of your visit; otherwise they use a random identifier. Neither is linked to your name, email or the content of your session. Google signals and advertising features are turned off.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only as follows:

6.1 Service providers

We use vendors and service providers to operate the Services, including cloud hosting and storage, real-time video infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, and security. These parties are authorized to process personal information only as necessary to perform services for us and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

6.2 Third-party AI providers

The workshop advisor and the generation of plan documents rely on third-party artificial intelligence and video technology providers. Session audio, transcripts, and related content are transmitted to these providers as necessary to conduct the session and produce your plan. We require these providers to process the information only as necessary to provide services to us.

6.3 Legal and safety

We may disclose personal information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wiseren, our users, or others.

6.4 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not request sensitive personal information, and the Services are not designed to collect it. Session transcripts may incidentally capture information you choose to disclose. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit under California law.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this Policy, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Session transcripts, board content, and plan documents are retained for as long as your relationship with us is active, unless you request deletion earlier. Session audio and video are not retained at all. You may request deletion of your session information at any time, as described in Section 11.

We retain records of transactions for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

11.1 All users

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• Request deletion of your personal information, including your session transcripts, board content, and plan documents.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@wiseren.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may decline a request where an exception under applicable law applies.

11.2 California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to:

• Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
• Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of;
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right;
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

The categories of personal information we have collected in the preceding twelve months are: identifiers; internet or other network activity information; electronic information, including session transcripts; and professional or employment-related information contained in session content. The sources, purposes, and disclosure categories are described in Sections 2, 3, and 6.

You may exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@wiseren.com. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification.

11.3 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, erasure of, or restriction of processing of your personal information; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests; and the right to withdraw consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you do so.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process personal information there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@wiseren.com.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common industry standard for interpreting them, and we do not currently respond to such signals.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to websites or services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their practices. Review their privacy policies before providing them personal information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
